New Addition From My Favorite Brand

I've known one of the versions of the Tradition would be my next watch for quite awhile. I wanted to see the different versions in person but was only ever able to see the retrograde seconds. I loved it but didn't want to pull the trigger til I saw the others.

A month or so ago I finally just decided I'm going to go for it and the 7597 Retrograde Date version really separated itself to me. After getting no response at all from one dealer about theirs then getting jerked around for 2 weeks from a second one (a dealer I've bought from twice prior nonetheless) I decided maybe the 7597 isn't the one I'm supposed to get. Saw this 7067 listed for a nice price on C24 and jumped at it.

Breguet is my favorite brand by a mile and this is my 5th watch from them but only second different reference as the other 4 are all 5817s.

Initial impressions:

- it's a Breguet so "wow" is always first
- love the depth. It doesn't come through in pictures as much as in person
- I love the GMT complication and this is my first watch with it in a subdial vs the bezel and I really like it this way
- fit is fantastic, even with the depth it's not too thick and it sits very nice on my wrist
- love the power reserve on the back. I'm not a fan of manual wind watches without one

That's awesome! It sounds like you've been eyeing the Tradition watch for a while. It can be so exciting to finally make a decision and go for it. It's great that you found the 7597 Retrograde Date version that really stood out to you.

Love the Tradition line. I have a 7027 incoming that will round out the collection. Question on the individual numbers on the dials: i have never seen them go into 5 digits so I assume they reset to 0 once they reach 10k watches?

There’s that - but my 2006 7027 has a number in the mid-4000’s and I see the topic starter’s 7067 has a high 3000’s number and is much newer.

Been curious about this as well. I saw a 2023 listed with 2800 something and while I don’t have papers for mine it would be highly likely it’s a lot older.

When i get some freetime ill research into it.
