That is really scary. In retrospect, there is an obvious roughness in the serrations of the rotating bezel. But this isn't easily judged on photographs.

The lesson for me in this instance is that only close visual inspection can identify really good fakes.

What gave it away?

The closeups do reveal a difference in dial fonts. Other than that ... I'm lost.

I see now the 4 is not as flat as it should be. Has the 4 changed over the years or always flat?

I thought fake but I wasn't 100 % sure. The rehaut looked more painted on then laser engraved to me. Other then that it looked pretty darn good

The watch is fake.

The OP only seems to post on the fake threads. I reckon he's just pfaffing with us though I might be wrong.

This one looks real on the pc screen.

haha ok guys, This watch is FAKE...... It is a modded replica. A friend of mine sent it to me asking if I could tell if it was fake or not. I thought it was real. :-(

The pearl, thin dial print, enlarged crown, and sub par finish are the only signs it is a fake... This is actually really really scary.

discuss........
