Recent Pickup from JAPAN
Hi guys,

Hope all is well.

Drop by to share my explorer 1016 that I got from Tokyo last month.

Dial with nice patina and also in honest/flawless condition.

Case is very fat and even lugs throughout.

Bonus: It also comes with punched papers and Osaka RSC service papers.

Pictures before installing dome crystal.

Very nice c 1970 1016. Lovely overall shape, dial nice even dark lustre and hands nice match, correct pre '76 - 7836 etc. Difficult to see the profile, but might be an RSC plexi but everything looks in keeping with everything else so you got a nice one there...

It is absolutely wild how many 1016s are in Japan. And at reasonable prices. One thing I like about Japanese dealers is they are meticulous in how they describe their pieces. Every single flaw is normally pointed out. Have loved importing from Japan.
