Please help: Real or Fake Hulk

Hello. I’m in contact with someone that sells a hulk from 2015, but before I waste my and my ADs time by checking the authenticity I thought I might ask you first if this seems legit. It is watch only.

Thank you:)

Impossible to tell from the pix you have posted but my initial thoughts are I would pass on that one.

Unless I could personally inspect it.

I'd say its highly questionable based on the laser effect dial. Can you get the clasp code and we'll check it against the list of known fakes.

The pictures do not look exactly right. I would pass and go look at a Trusted Seller for a watch that would be right.

On the basis of the pics

It is impossible to tell. The watch should be opened
and have it checked carefully by a Rolex trained
watchmaker.

Hard to tell, not calling it a fake but something looks off. Proportions don’t look 100% correct, could be angles and I’m no expert

Case shape looks off to me... presume this doesn't have any tags/card etc? Something doesn't look right but can't put my finger on it.

Not great pictures, but I agree with the sentiment of something looks off. Just speculating of course.

i'm comparing the pics to my Hulk in my hand right now, looks legit to me. But the only TRUE way to know for sure, is to open it up and look at the movement.

Seriously, all the pictures in the world don't mean a thing, take it to an AD.

dial sunburst looks very very off to me. definitely have an AD or better RSC check it out.

whats the situation with the warranty card & serial number? are they legitimately printed on the card and does it match the watch?

The only true way to authentic any Rolex watch is buy from official AD or 100% trusted seller. If bought from any other sources best get the back off to check movement as movement is the hardest to replicate.

Not sure on Norway's process but in UK an AD won't do sht. They will advise you to submit it to a RSC where they will then either offer to service it and give you a quote or refuse based on the fact it isn't genuine.

Looks exactly like mine. I don't see anything that would obviously indicate that it's fake. As others have said, the only way to be sure is to have an expert examine the movement. The balance wheel is usually the giveaway.

I owned three of these and something looks off.

I can’t wrap my head around it… The sunburst is hitting from the wrong angles.

Just from pics I’ve seen on here , the sunburst effect looks off to me, as well. Very possibly a super clone.

It looks fake to me. The “O” on the Rolex Renault isn’t centered. Also the day is sort of out of line. It’s seems like it’s not centered properly, more towards the bottom. That’s enough for me to say no.

You can’t authenticate a watch from just pictures on the web. You just can’t. You need to open the watch and look at all the details before being 100% sure. If you don’t trust this seller then don’t buy it. That’s why it’s so important to buy from a trusted source. Either an AD or a trusted dealer.

Not true; can be difficult to claim something is 100% genuine just looking at pics.. but it can be easy to tell if something is fake!

This one is fake. I see a few things including the laser dial and it has a high floating ‘m’ in 300m. This one is fake.

Yes, obvious fakes can be spotted through pictures if the buyer has the watch in hand and have made the pictures himself. But if the watch doesn’t have red flags on pictures you still have nothing to go on.

I think there is a rush to judgement here. I checked the picture against my watch again, and there are subtle differences in the dials. For one, the distance between "=" and "300" on my watch is greater than that on the watch here. So I checked Chrono24, where I see two different dials, one type like mine, and the other, like the one here. At the moment there are 509 Hulks listed there.

My watch is absolutely authentic. I have the warranty card, and the movement has the microstella screws on the balance, and the blue hairspring.

Mitch it isn't just the dial.

The photos aren't good enough to validate the OP's potential purchase but they are good enough to disqualify it.
