Dressing Room
Looking to finally splurge on my first Rolex! Looking for recommendations on a AD or Venue where I could try on most of the various models to see in person what suits my eye and wears the best. I am in the central US, but would be willing take a small write-off vacation for an onsite inspection.

Going to NYC or LA would be a good bet. Otherwise, DavidSW in Orlando has almost everything you can want (they have more inventory than what's listed online I think), but their prices are a bit high.
Don't count on going to an AD. No telling what exhibition models they'll have. |

Jersey Shore is great for a summer long weekend. You can stop at Short Hills Rolex Boutique on the way down from the airport ( or drive it) . They always seem to have lots to try on. We actually left there , first visit , with a mint DJ 36 for the wife. SA, Chris G., liked us I guess.

Yes, a joke if you expect to walk in and buy one, but most have a fair amount to try on. The larger the dealer, the more exhibition pieces on display. FYI, don’t tell them, “I want to buy a Rolex!” Be more specific. They don’t let everyone try them on, especially people who don’t know what they want. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

That sounds like a fantastic purchase! For trying on a wide range of Rolex models, I'd recommend checking out a few top-notch places:
Wynn & Company Watches in Las Vegas, NV: They have an extensive selection and exceptional service. Plus, Vegas offers a lot of other attractions to make your trip worthwhile. Tourneau in New York City, NY: One of the largest watch retailers globally, with a great variety of Rolex models. NYC is always a great destination for a mini-vacation. Razny Jewelers in Chicago, IL: A highly reputable Authorized Dealer with a great selection and excellent customer service. Happy shopping and enjoy your Rolex journey! |
