I would love to see a time and date only 41 with a rose gold/salmon dial. |

My boutique knows I'm too poor for a complication, so we jumped to the 15407 directly

Exactly, I thought there was a number of people with OW allocations who didn’t want to get a QP. Instead, I thought it was more based on the number of pieces one has purchased. Rules may be changing, however, I dunno.

I did just notice that the black ceramic with the rose gold dial is listed as a "limited edition of 150" on the website.
So I guess most of us won't have to worry about turning that one down. Just in case some of you were anxious. |

I’m wondering of the many 15407s I’ve seen here (unless it’s a faulty impression), how many came through an AD where a Concept or complication was required first. |

Just got the confirmation from my SA that this is the new movement. It was actually only a new treatment and not a new architecture.
I can't say if I like it or no, I guess I'll have to wait to see how it is in real life condition instead of photoshopped shootings. YG and Ceramic will still not be obtainable for me. My SA told me that to be eligible for the ceramic skeleton, I have to buy a QP or tourbillon first, HQ won't put their green light if not. |

They really milked the crap out of the DB. In 2020, we only had like 8 variants across the 41 and 37 sizes.
We must be at like 20+ at this point and really killing a classic with all the variants. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Indeed much better than AP's semi-renders. Still wondering what it would look like with a contrast-colored bridge.

tell which of the 20 models on the website are actually (still) available. Does the new 15407ST replace the old one? Not sure there are really more current models than before.

I like the new one enough to almost choose it over a QP. The old one...not so much.

I like the new steel model over the old steel model. The previous 15407ST never appealed to me. The gray steel and gray internals just seemed overly gray, dull, lifeless, ugly. The new model is a significant improvement in my opinion.
The 15407OR with the gray internals looks unchanged? Looks great to me. The 15416CE, I prefer the old one. The shine on the black ceramic works well with a dark/grayish movement. I'm a bit biased, I suppose, and maybe the new one will grow on me after some time. |

I had to really let these new releases sink in for a bit. I'm really starting to like the new SS version. I prefer the old ceramic over the new, though. Going to request the SS version and see how that conversation goes..

Calmer heads prevail I did indeed have a reaction to the initial pictures and unexpected change. But seeing live pictures has been winning me over. Someone else summarized it perfectly by describing the old gen as more alluring, while the new gen is more gorgeous.

Ummmm. I like the older 15407 better than the new version. I feel the DB is now lost and added an extra layer of intricately connected color and metal types made the dial pop
NOW the new version blends together and loses the depth of the 15407 that made that dial amazing. |

Are we sure these are the new versions we have been waiting for and not a farewell tour of the current movement? I heard the new openworked might get pushed to next year, so a July release seems odd to me.
Based on the current pics I’ve seen, I prefer all 3 of the old versions to the new lineup. The missing bridge contrast makes a bit difference I think. |

I should add I just took that image from an AP instagram fan page, think very few people will have seen one so far Looks more yellow in this image but these other images show it in a different light. The AP website describes it as “pink-gold-toned openworked movement” so should be more salmon/pink in reality. |
