I have the sky dweller in blue on jubilee but a Daytona is next for me. The sky dweller is a larger watch but I’d imagine the new Daytona wears a bit larger than previous models. I do find the sky dweller is much more rare in the wild. It could be the places I go to but last fall I attended both RennSport Reunion in Monterey, CA and F1 in Austin, TX and I saw Daytonas everywhere I turned and just one sky dweller at each multi day event.

Blue Sky-dweller. Superb watch and truly rare.

I have both. I love the daytona but if just one would have to stay it would probably be the blue skyD. Its just more unique in my opinion.

I have a bigger wrist, but when I was looking for my first Rolex, the SA had the Panda Daytona on. He let me try it on, but it seemed really small on my wrist and the dial was hard to read.
I tried on the Blue SkyD, and as soon as that watch hit my wrist, I knew this was the watch for me. Just my experience. Best of luck. |

I'd say it depends on your preference, if you love something large SkyD will be good, else go for the Daytona.

Thanks all. I think you helped me sort out how I've been feeling. I love the panda daytona in pics but when I try it on it just wears like a 39mm on my wrist and find it disappointing. The blue sky at 42mm is a beautiful dial, unique and the right size

As someone that owns both, I’d go with the SkyDweller. I’ve owned the Panda just over a year, and just received the Sky a couple days ago. Maybe it’s the honeymoon phase, but the blue dial on the Sky is phenomenal!

Very different watches…
Try both and see what you would prefer wearing. I would not hesitate though, it would have to be the Sky dweller blue dial (jube or oyster). I love the Sky D. The Daytona does nothing for me :). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think you’re hype chasing. Buy whichever watch you like the best. Or if you can’t do that, buy the watch that fits your purpose / collection.

Have never cared for a Daytona so easy choice for me. My blue dial Sky-Dweller is stunning and I prefer a Oyster bracelet for a more sporty, masculine look.

Congrats, wearing mine now on Oyster. Looks great on Jubilee too.

If it’s the 126500 definitely that one, it is less sporty than the 116500 and wears a bit larger. Will post a comparison pic.
