How much play between links on new oyster bracelet
Hi all recently got my first rolex, brand new. I'm wondering, how much play, or side to side movement is expected between each of the links? It's an oyster bracelet. There's no significant flop when holding the watch sideways, but there is just a little bit of side to side movement between each of the links. This makes the bracelet have a little bit of wiggle room and jingle a bit when shaken. Just trying to assess to what degree this is normal. thanks all

Sounds about right. If it's a new Oyster bracelet it may also squeak but this won't last long.

Give bracelet and clasp a wash in soap and water rinse well after and pat dry with any clean cotton type cloth.

I wouldn’t try and get rid of the squeak. Enjoy it! You’ll miss it when it’s gone.
I’m surprised you’re noticing much play. My oyster bracelet is by far the most solid feeling bracelet I’ve ever had. (A very slight rattle if I hold the watch head and wobble the hanging bracelet side to side.) |

Admittedly these photos don't nearly show in detail as it does in the video. |
