AD Wait time for a 126719 BLRO Meteorite

TRF
Am curious to know the wait time for a WG GMT Pepsi with Meteorite dial.
This is my grail Rolex and eager to see how long TRF members have waited to procure this rare timepiece from an AD.

I believe there are some smaller ad that have yet to even get one. I think in Canada it’s really hard one to get. I think it’s easier to get a platinum Daytona here than a gmt meteorite.

I got mine in one year but my AD told me last time that he hasn’t got one already in 1 year and a half.

It is really is dependent on when an AD will get the watch and how many people are ahead of you. I do not believe these can be ordered at the moment.

They're creeping closer to retail prices, so not long. But it all depends on your location and how you approach them

The gmt meteorite is a rare piece and always not easy to get, it depends on how long your AD could be allocated one and how many persons on the wait list before you, to play the wait game, patience is paramount.

They are rare but you never know when you might bump into one. My AD has seen one in the last three years. They might get their next one tomorrow - not likely but not impossible.

I ordered one from AD in April of 2019, went grey in May of 2024. My AD for over 25 years lost Rolex so went to another AD whom still to this day I think has yet to see one. Life’s to short.
…and the cost wasn’t more than retail + taxes.

The real answer we do not know.
AD’s do not always tell us the truth to exaggerate demand.
Good luck.

It could be a long wait then I’m guessing it all comes down to people’s spend history

Have this as my next watch and hoping to get the call this year or whenever my AD gets their next one. Only started waiting in December.

I think these are distributed by regional managers. So some ADs possibly smaller ones might only see 1 ever 3-4 years. Others may get 1 a year.

So it’s very random.

Funny you should mention the platona. I was on vacation at the end of 2019, a few weeks before COVID-19 reared its ugly head. Stopped in an AD in St. Thomas, and they had a platona in the store. Tried it on, owner told me it’s Sat unsold for almost one whole year. Offered 15% off without asking. That was less than 5 years ago. Funny how times have changed.
