Le Mans at Watchfinder UK

So, just come across advertised of the above on Watchfinder UK, but the actual seller is Mark Worthington Jewellers, based in Wilmslow (near Manchester).
The price is £214.995. The watch dated November 2023.

https://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Rolex/...49/item/307929

However, on their website it is a bit cheaper - £209.995

Yes, you are right. They also live in Alderney Edge, which is close by.

For this amount of cash, you'd think they get more professional photography. It's sufficient for an Omega but not this one imho.

watchcollecting.com have just sold one for £135K. It was sold outside of an auction but as usual their website provides an indication for true market prices.

100%. I think, in general, this is sort of photography is almost an insult, regardless of the brand, with all the applications and technology available to make it really good and professional.

This price is a lot more realistic. Was the MSRP around £50k? For a serious collector, provided one has the funds, I suppose it is a good price, based on the scarcity and the necessity to have had a huge history to get it allocated, but £200k+ is just nonsense...
