126610LN wait times

Hi gents.

Long time owner, but my last Rolex was a 116710LN that I bought new in August 2007 and still enjoy to this day.

Recently got the bug again and now I want a 126610LN. I am on "the list" with my friendly local AD and was promised that he will get one for me. More or less, what are you guys seeing as average wait times on the 126610LNs from ADs currently? Is a few months (3-6) a reasonable expectation?

A few days if you have a relationship. Not hard to get.

Did you purchase your 116 from the same AD? Have you popped in over the years for some gifts or get out of trouble items for the wifey? If so, I’d say 3-6 months is very reasonable. Do stop in or send a reminder text to your SA monthly until you get the call. Good luck!

I got the 116 from a different AD out of town back in 2007.

I got a Tudor from this current AD a few months ago and we have been friendly since.

Nobody can give you an accurate answer. Walk in purchase, a short wait, two plus year wait with no end in sight, and anything in between. These are the experiences I have read from other people.

Took 7 months, and I received it in November 2023.
I do not buy much from the AD. Bought a Breitling ~25 years ago. Have used the AD for service to keep the relationship active. Still wear that watch regularly.
Not a big spender by most everyone in this forum's scale. Have only bought 2 watches there for certain milestones. I have liked watches since I was a little kid, and wanted a Sub since I was 20 years old.
We are not jewelry people, thankfully I don't consider Stainless timepieces jewelry.

Anecdotally, seems like within the year is very doable. Good luck with your hunt!

Depends on the type of AD a family owed yes, a big AD No at least that has been my experience. I was told No by a AD on a sub no to long ago. But you have some relationship with them already which is always good. So 3-6 months is reasonable.
Also the market you are in has some to do with it. Big city more demand.

Good luck,

Classic Submariner Date. Every collection should have one. Shouldn’t take more than a year to get one, two at most.

Husband was txted last week from our AD at the Rolex boutique in Orlando, asking did he want one that just arrived. We were somewhat surprised as he wasn’t on the registry and that’s a tough market. Maybe they are becoming more available.
