GO SeaQ Panorama Date Two-Tone

Quite intrigued by this reference:

https://www.glashuette-original.com/...6-13-04-91-34/

Any owners on here and if so, what’s your experience been like?

I've come close to buying the SeaQ a ton of times. Don't like the lugs, I think they look pretty boring/plain from top down when you're wearing the watch.

Go here and look at some of the pics @DVR posts. I'll link you to page 14.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...484006&page=14

I love GO and this two tone is one of my favorites. My only issue is retail price. Darn thing is up to $15.8k before tax now, which is silly considering the small amount of AU on the watch and the fact that it doesn't come with a bracelet.

I wouldn't even consider new without a 20% discount. I've seen a few in excellent condition with trusted sellers in the $8's recently. It's a steal at 8K. It's a robbery at 16K.

Great shout, I’ll have a look at the thread, cheers.

As for the price, I can get it tax free in Switzerland with an added discount, so all in all I’d pay around CHF 11k for it, which I thing is a fair price considering attention to detail and execution.

I have this reference as well and thoroughly enjoy it. It’s quite thick but nevertheless very comfortable even though I have tiny wrists. The lugs curve down a little which adds to the comfort.
The finishing is excellent and it is very (very) accurate.
Like DVR I am keeping mine for ever.
By the way I also have a SeaQ 39 on the bracelet which is also very comfortable. But the PR is shorter and it is not quite as accurate as the PanoDate - the movement, although behind a closed case back on the 39 is not as special.
With discounts etc this comes in not far from a Rolex SS Sub and I know what I would rather have!

I’ll need to try one in flesh very soon in order to see how it fits me. Love the quirky design though.

DVR - how does the Pano Date wear in comparison with the Seventies Chrono? I assume the Pano Date feels larger and thicker but I am really tempted to add the Chrono to the collection.

I like this watch but have never handled it. Price point makes it a see and try before buy for me.

I find it nice, but quite big & thick. The panorama model has a different movement than the standard date diver. I wish they'd offer it in titanium. Interestingly, the GO nylon straps are super nice.

Yes, you are right, the SeaQ pano date feels bigger. The Seventies feels and looks smaller but not thinner. It's still a substantial watch. It wears great though or better, it wears perfect.

It's the only model of which I have three and wouldn't mind to have a few more.
There is not one watch in the world that gives me the feeling of the GO Seventies.
Especially in all those 'happy colors'.

Did you see the new 2024 LE's? Just fantastic.

Love the SeaQ with the panoramadatum. Been debating getting one.

Ironically, however, I don't understand why GO doesn't match the font on its date complications with the font on the indices. I understand many watches GO makes with the panoramadatum does not have Arabic numerals on the dial, but the SeaQ does and the Arabics are pretty unique (especially the 6).

Would have been nice to have matching date fonts.

Thanks for the insight. I thought you might be on to the new LE’s. They look great.
I tried on the green Seventies Chrono and thought it looked fab. I’m inclined to go for a bracelet and then get a calf skin and rubber to mix it up. Would love GO to introduce a quick change system.
