DD + platinum is always a good combo. :-)
Personally, I also think DDs are at their best at 36. Good luck with your choice! |

Totally wide span of watches. None make sense to me. Platinum DD I old and small. Daytona is old. DD40 WG is nice but the dail is too simple.

I have the Daytona you mention and I also have a 36mm Day date albeit in everose gold.
I would go 36mm platinum day date. Its the classic of all of these. You will enjoy the heft of the platinum and the dial colour is very cool. |

Since you listed the Platinum, I would go platinum with the ice blue dial but in 40mm.

I prefer the Platinum DD40. I like the size as it makes the dial all the more beautiful.

I'm for the DD40; definitely like the larger size and presence.

I picked the DD40 but if you could get it in platinum, that would be the king

Need more context. Is this a first watch or you have others in your collection?

I have a 16710 with a 3186 movement (all three bezels and both bracelets) as my daily. I wanted a weekend precious medal watch. Any other suggestions? I don’t want a 116719 or 126719 because I already have a gmt. Open to other thoughts

IMO DD40 in rose gold is beautiful special occasion watch. Otherwise if you want something more sporty go for an OF Daytona in yellow or rose gold. They are very impressive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the suggestions… I am not into OF bands. I like white color medals as well. Not a fan of rose or yellow gold so it has to be white gold or platinum.

This one is easy for me. Not a fan of WG or 40MM DDs. The true DD IMHO is the 36 and nothing better than Plat!
