Non omega straps

Hello,
I have a deville w 20mm lug-lug and am contemplating getting a speedy w 19mm lug-lug.
Are there any non omega websites that sell decent quality leather and/or rubber straps?

I purchased a nice strap this year from Veblenist: https://veblenist.com/

Depending on what you want there are straps directly from Omega. They come at a bit of a premium, but sometimes it's nice to have factory stuff.

Here's a black rally-style strap from Omega with a pin buckle for $330:

Here's a brown leather strap similar to what Omega puts on other "Heritage" versions of the Speedmaster (1957 re-issue, original First Omega In Space, etc.): https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/o...material=10323

Also, check out this Racing model from Bulang & Sons. Every time I see a Speedmaster on this strap I think I need to have one for my Speedmaster Pro: https://bulangandsons.com/products/r...-watch-strap-1

I like to wear my Speedmaster Pro on factory black alligator with a deployant clasp. You can have this for about the same cost as kissing three or four frogs before finding something aftermarket that pleases you.

But a really good custom strap will cost more than OEM.

Camille Fournet has been my goto for third-party leather straps.

I purchased this curved custom rubber strap for my Speedmaster from Wristbuddys for about $100.00. Very high quality and fast, courteous service.

Agree with this. The Omega black crock strap with deployant is tough to beat. I just got one for my 145.012 and it’s amazing. Pricey but worth it. Other after market deployants the metal hits your hand. The omega one it does not. Makes a big difference in comfort. I’ve tried after market and finally went omega.

I'll second the endorsement of Camille Fournet. My experience with them has been great. I will say, though, that I have passed over CF on a couple of recent purchases simply because CF has yet to introduce quick-release spring-bars in its offerings. Maybe I'm silly but I'm better off when I can avoid poking a spring-bar tool between the strap and lug.

These both look really good. I think I’m going to have to pick these up for myself

Hamilton Watch website has a pretty good selection of straps. I got a padded leather strap with faux gator print with a deployant clasp for $100. Seemed like a good deal. I have purchased OEM Omega straps which are $$$ but good quality.

Does this strap taper down to 16mm at the deployant clasp?

That's right, this strap does taper to 16mm at the clasp. I think an Omega Boutique or an Omega AD would be the best sources to purchase this strap because I have never seen it included in the offerings on Omega's site where we can purchase straps directly. The alligator/deployant offerings available on Omega's web site are all 18mm at the clasp.

The one in my photo is the strap that came on the last iteration of the Speedmaster Pro with Caliber 1861 (~2015 - ~2019, I think). The Part Number is 98000008. It also has 62 stamped near the Part Number.

It's very nicely made

If you already have the Deployant buckle then Genteel make high quality Omega Deployant compatible straps. This way you can keep the OEM look on the buckle but have a wider choice of strap material. It's a route I'm thinking of going as nothing from Omega quite hits the spot for me but I really want to keep thinks looking as factory as possible.
