Hong Kong watches store recommendations?
Now this is my chance to go to Hong Kong, I heard about many many stores either selling brand new or aftermarket or gray market watches. I'm currently looking for a Tudor GMT rootbeer or two tone datejust for Rolex. I'm wondering besides AD, are there other store that people are recommending? Many thanks

Check out UptickWatchReviews on YouTube. He lives in HK and regularly does watch safari videos. You might reach out to him directly, too.

I’ve bought from Ken’s watches.
Definitely watch an Uptick Watch safari video. Mong Kok has loads of grey dealers. |

Sold me a Franken 16700 before despite multiple assurances to me online that it was “all original”.. Turns out Dial was totally relumed. Tried to make it good by offering a dial swap, but which legit vintage dealer will do that ? Essentially doubling down that he was not legit.. Wasted so much of my time trying to get it back to HK for a refund (which he eventually did) .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hong Kong is great for variety but don’t think you’ll find watches that much cheaper

hong kong watches are all tax free, so should be much cheaper than other places.

And to response to HK pricing... I haven't been able to find any decent price advantages myself... I do see they have a lots of watches in stock (not AD... AD is an epic waste of time if you expect to find anything... Somehow, I think I get better luck in other cities...) if you want one asap, HK is a good place! |
