You're in the wrong place to discuss pricing of fakes.

Eduardo,
I think they have a flat rate for all watches. |

If it's a face Rolex, but real white gold or platinum, it's probably worth the value of the metal. Most of those diamonds look to small to really be worth much, besides around the bezel, but I know nothing of pricing stones. I'd get it authenticated first, and if it is indeed fake, take it to a jeweler who specializes in scrapping old jewelry for the raw materials.

Orchi has reasons to ask you to do this... Can you try to get a reliable watchmaker... to detach the bracelet(the band) from the watch case... to check for the Case Ref n Serial Numbers...between the lugs...? You then try to take few more pictures of these Numbers... Once the bracelet is off...these numbers can be easily seen... This is very important... Does it fits your wrist nicely...a Lady's watch... or is it a bigger in size...a Men's watch...? Then perhaps you could get the same reliable watchmaker... to open up the backcase cover... in order to check the movement of the watch...inside. What you need to do then...is to take few more pictures of the inside... When you have gotten the pictures...please post them up in here... Oh btw...IF by any chance the watchmaker that you've found insists that... you sell the watch to him...just tell him nicely that it's a gift which you won't want to part with it...(as yet). n it would be wise...you bring a friend along with you... It may be a loooooog shot(as others have amply advised you with)... but those tiny markings on the clasps of your watch are looking...familiar. |
