I bought a GMTIIc about 22 months ago, and my wife just gave me a Submariner Date for our first anniversary. I really love both watches, but right now the Sub is king of the hill.

I work as a Corrosion Control Tecnician in the natural gas industry.

I really like that TT GMT but.......I think the bracelet is too much gold. I would like that watch without the TT bracelet. Place a normal SS bracelet on it and it would be just right IMO.

Only one Rolex, a 78240 (mid size s/s dj). I prefer that kind of simple understated look rather than something more ostentatious. I don't wear it as often as maybe I should; it's only a few years old so maybe I haven't bonded with it yet - & there's only so many watches that you can give wrist time to. I only wear 2 watches on a regular everyday basis (one work, one social) neither of which are Rolex.

I am an Actuary. I bought my first Rolex, the SeaDweller, in May. Already looking to add the TT GMTIIc in the near future, and a Rolex from my 1972 birth year. The Rolex bug truly has bitten me (ouch!).

I am 53 years old and am an ER and EMS doc. I've had this SS/18K Submariner with a custom dial since 1992, and I wear it every day. I'd like to sell it and buy an 18K gold Sub in the near future, so I'm trying to learn as much as I can from this site in the meantime.
