Can someone please point me to a tutorial on how to remove links from a folded Oyster bracelet?

Is there some elegant way of doing this, or is it just a brute force bending open of the links?

Something better left to an AD to do?

You do need to pry open the back of the link!! My wife's 6618 has folded links and I ended up taking it to a jewelers to be done....I'm handy with my hands but was not willing to mess up the link to do it..!
