How to remove Yachtmaster platinum bezel to replace with aftermarket?

I want to replace my Yachtmaster platinum bezel with a more unique diamond one and I came across this "how-to" with a Google search: http://www.instructables.com/id/Remo...Rolex-Submari/

Now a few questions:

1. So is the procedure the same with the Yachtmaster as it is detailed in the how-to for the submariner?

2. Is it really that easy to do? Should I try this myself or have a jeweler do this?

3. The aftermarket bezel fits perfect and is made for the YM. One weird thing though is that it's got a smooth interior finish and back finish (it's made of white gold). How the heck is it supposed to "snap-in" or stay in place on the YM? Is the real bezel like this? If so that is good news and there could be some sort of way it will lock in once the real bezel is removed?

4. How much do you think I should pay a jeweler to replace the bezel for me?

5. I want to keep the old bezel because if I ever need to send it in to Rolex or want to go back to stock I can... this shouldn't be to hard right?

I know, that's a LOT of questions but I thank you guys for answering my questions from a newb!

The Yachtmaster bezel is made exactly like the Submariner bezel... they are interchangeable..

Thanks Tools! Sounds good... well I took a picture of the back (see attached image) of the bezel and as you can see the sides and back are very smooth. How is that going to stay on the watch?

Can someone answer the questions I laid out above just so I can know/make the best decision about this?

Ok, I did a LOT of research last night and did learn that if I pop of my platinum bezel, then I should be able to put this on. I did see that the YM's bezel can be seperated but it's harder to do because the main ring is platinum too.

So I would assume to put this new bezel on I would need to maybe get a stainless steel bezel surround and then use that to attach the new bezel?
