Is this a good deal?

I came across this at TimeZone and he is selling this SD, still has the original dial, but with no box or papers.

He's asking $2850 USD, head only but will come with a new NATO strap. I inquired if I was to trade my 14060, how much it would cost, and he said an extra $800 USD.

Watch has no service records either.

Is it worth it?

Thanks,

Vernon

He's willing to give you 2,050.00 for your 14060. That's a rip off!

Thanks guys. Thought so. I didn't go for it.

I think I'll sell the 14060 and just use the funds to get a 16610 or 16600.

Why do you want to sell the 14060? It's a great watch.

Vernon, I'd say no. If it were a matt dial then maybe we could talk. you'd be putting an extra 800 into the watch plus a service on a watch with no history and a bracelet (now about $825) I think that's a little over the top.
Your 14060 was just serviced if I remember correctly and is beautifull!
If it were me I hang on to it.

I've started a conversation with Cayce at timekeeper. He may have one at better condition with better trade up pricing.

Jeff, we briefly talked about you

I've always found it better [for me] to sell and buy separately. But that doesn't mean to not keep an eye out for a good trade deal.

Thanks for all your support guys. I didn't go for it - I was so tempted, but inside me also said "don't pull the trigger".

Wearing the 14060 right now and I must say I forgot how good it feels on the wrist. It is barely noticeable! yeah NON SELs.

I've put off upgrading or selling this 14060, besides it has sentimental value, it is my 1st Rolex. What was I thinking??
