Looks Great Greg And a very complete package

My 2.2 mil serial has a I69 caseback and also RED over White print and the open 6 thin font.

This "tropic is a dark chocolate"

It was hard to tell from your photo if the RED was solid or overprint

MY 2.2 mil serial also has the closed 6s and 9s on datewheel

In my opinion Anastasios, Springer or Mike would have the best guess as to the value of your classic.

I'm no expert but it looks like the date disc was replaced during service. Not uncommon. The date disc should have open 6 & 9 and this piece appears to have closed 6 & 9. A beautiful watch nonetheless.

Icon20 Adding pictures of the papers...

Need further 'weighing in' by the experts. I covered up the customer's name and payment method, but the rest is there to see. Any further opinions?

Just for the sake of thoroughness, perhaps you'd better post F & R pic's of the legs in question to allow us to evaluate to strength of your negotiating stance.

Serlously, all indications are this is the real deal. So my question would be: what is the rough value "range" of a total cupcake like this ? Just curious, as I personally have no interest in Sub's but do appreciate the enthusiasm that they generate amongst many of the inmates.

Well - that's just it. I am doing thorough research before committing to number. Afraid of the repainted dial boogeyman. If 100% as it should be, this piece could be worth anywhere between $16000 - $20000, believe it or not. If not -1/8th of that. Amazing difference!

Yeah, I'm afraid it has as well - too clean... However, it is definitely a genuine Rolex bezel insert - I've stared at it for about 3 hours today, comparing it with the www.doubleredseadweller.com pictures... Even measured the pearl position... No discrepancies
