Picked up a new friend (seiko content)

Picked this one up in Vegas today. It looks a feels very substantial. In the heat of the moment I forgot to tell the salesperson to retain the tag after they sized it up. I've been looking for a classy roman numeral dialed watch to complete my collection and this one fit the bill.

It has a great display back (more pics to come) showing the subtely decorated 7S35 movement.

It has a great weight and what I believe is a domed hardlex crystal sits slightly above the brushed bezel.

The hands and hour markers are a highly polished black steel while the second hand is matte. Elegant and functional.

Can anyone tell me anything more about this watch. I did a search over the internet but not much turned up without a model #. I bought it on a complete whim and the quality is unmatched at this price. In fact it feels as good on my wrist as my GMTII does. Seiko does it again. I'm just surprised that I dont see this watch more often. This should reach the cult status of the monster.

I will do a complete review after I wear it for a week and get better pictures.

You can't go wrong with a Seiko. They are the best watch buys out there

Case back shots

here's a shot of the 7s35 through the case back. Nothing special just lightly decorated. Looks very robust.

does anyone know the model# of this watch or have any additional info?
