I've never seen that model but it sure doesn't look "counterfeit" to me in the strictest sense of the word.

I doubt that very seriously. Verification of authenticity would be a must to command a premium price, and I would highly doubt the ability of the seller to produce said verification.

Yes I'm sure. Price ALWAYS matters when it comes to Rolex watches. Here's a pic of a real one(only 2 prototypes were made) that sold in auction in 2004 for over $82,000.

Antiquarium had one of these prototypes for sale a while back..They are rare and I think that it went for close to 100,000 Dollars

If it's too good to be true...
It's possible that it's a genuine movement inside, a fake case, and a fake dial...making this a franken.
