I have a Submariner 14060 Non-Date.

I lost the bezel and am looking for options other than AD repair.

I have searched the forum and not really found what I am looking for. I am thinking that, if I found all the needed parts, I could reattach the bezel myself (bezel, bezel insert and bezel spring).

Any suggestions as to a parts source (Other than eBay...)?

Why are you looking for a repair other than the Dealer or a Service Center ??

Rolex doesn't sell parts separately, and any thing from e-bay will likely be used or priced at more than the Dealer price...

There are some parts vendors... you could try the For Sale Boards for names.. if you have the parts they are very easy to snap back on.. Tutorials for insert changes always show taking the bezel off and on..

Caught the watch on a piece of wood and didn't notice the bezel was off until later in the day. I remember looking down to see if my watch was OK and to my relief it seemed to be. The bezel was probably knocked loose and fell off later. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it).

That royally SUCKS Hal. Did your AD give you a quote on the price of a replacement bezel/insert???

Welcome to the forum! Bummer about the bezel & insert. What part of California? There is a mini RSC in San Francisco who could certainly help you out. On occasion, you will see what you need advertised in the for sale section of the forum. I live in CA also and have some other options as well, PM me if you like.

It's easy to repair if you can find the part. I would not recommend e-bay. Check watchnet and the parts section but keep in mind that the bezel and insert for a Sub ND are different than the bezel and insert for a Sub Date. Sometimes our friends overseas can help get parts for you but an AD probably won't cost much more. Parts in the US go for a premium..supply/demand!

Hal, I have every sympathy with you as I recently did exactly the same thing. I wear my 14060 daily and was doing chores, both inside and out, noticed the bezel gone and for the life of me cannot find it despite searches for 3 weeks. Internet dealer wants $370 for a bezel plus more for the small spring. There is no certainty that these are Rolex original either. Ebay offers the same replacement for $129 but there is so little option anywhere else as spares are not readily available. Odd, if you buy a Rolls Royce and the tyre blows out, you don't have to get a replacement from the factory, just go to a local specialist, it's called a free market, but then not all markets are free. I would be interested to know how/where you solved your problem.

Recently lost my bezel (outer ring, black bezel & spring-all at once), from what I suspect was monofilament fishing line slipping under it and then my pulling my arm back creating unusual tension, popping it off. No luck in searching for it. Have been shopping the internet looking for an affordable replacement... Otherwise only option is to pay a certified jeweler a handling fee to send to Rolex/TX, await 2-3 months for repair and incur regular maintenance fees (required) totaling close to $1,000! The required maintenance fee ($500+) is annoying, but the 2-3 month return is unacceptable.

Member #922 posted "There is a mini RSC in San Francisco who could certainly help you out. " in a recent thread about replacing a bezel on the 14060.

What is a "RSC" (registered service center?). Where is this one in San Francisco (I'm a SF Bay Area resident).
