Not a guess (since I would be really surprised to see one), but rather a wish: A Daytona 116520 on superjubilee.
More likely: Jubilee bracelet for the DJII. Others have mentioned the expected SS Sub 116610, and I posted photoshopped pictures of supercased Explorer IIs in JJ's thread on a similar theme, but I do not believe they will be here already this year, perhaps not even next year, but they will come. I am certain. Most likely the Sub will be the "star" this year. But a Daytona on Jubilee would be great! And I do hope that Rolex makes me surprised. Best, A |

Based on previous releases, I suspect that the 116610 Sub will become available late summer 2010/early fall.
Why? most of the tooling to make the Sub is in place and the DeepSea was available in August 2008 in Canada. Now my predictions 2010 BaselWorld. S/S Sub 116610 An upgrade to the S/S platinum Yachtmaster clasp. Sorry I think the Pepsi/Coke cerachrome insert is still a few years away. 2011 will see a green anniversary Daytona and either the EXP II or the Daytona will be reworked to incorporate the Supercase. |

I am sure the Submariner will be updated. What I would really like to see there is keeping the model without the date, but giving it the "beefier" dial with the bigger markers. Same size and looks of the GMT, but without the date windowThat would be my idea of the perfect diver.
Cheers, Carl

I agree. I've seen fake Daytonas with dates and the date looks like an afterthought. Next people would want the cyclops...what next? There is a pleasant semetry about the Daytona and I don't miss the date a bit.

I agree 100 % with your Daytona statement, I do love my no date sub. The Daytona never called out to me. I do love the YM that is my Daytona.

If the SS Sub C is a given, then I would guess/hope a reworked Exp II with the maxi/super/lume/bracelet/clasp treatment.
Although I am still why Rolex pegged the sports models at 40mm (DSSD excepted) while moving the DJII to 41mm? Perhaps so that the next gen models can grow to a larger size ...? Cheers

How about a Maxi Lume Dial Explorer II, with polished bezel, PCL and the new clasp ? That could look nice, some kind of Dressed up GMT

I'm new to this whole 'Basel' thing but (based on you guys experiences of previous years) is it likely that much more will happen IF the Sub's updated?
I mean..... how likely is it that: the SS Sub will be 'modernised' AND the Explorer II's will be modernised AND there'll be more variants of the DJII????

I would love to see an update with the turn-o-graph a new or different dials. Loose the stick dial, make the case wider, maybe even a new bezel.
