Rolex Milgauss Green questions

Hello everyone,

Since I am new this forum and to the world of Rolex’s, I would like to hear your expertise. I'm interested in a Milgauss Green Sapphire watch. I have done my research and a new Milgauss, from a Authorized dealer in Connecticut, will set me back $6900 (tax included). Many of the Internet dealers appear to be slightly less or slightly more.

A few questions:

Anyone know a reputable local watch dealer in Connecticut?
Rolex refers to this as “limited edition,” what are the numbers it is limited too?
What should I expect to pay for a slightly used watch?
Any additional feedback, experience and recommendations for TRF dealers with this watch is welcome.

PM sent - but I am also an owner of one and it is by far the most comfortable watch I have owned. As far as the exact number of watches produced - unfortunately only Rolex execs will know that one.

Hey welcome. I bought a Millgauss GV a couple of months ago and you can get a slight discount in some ADs. For the most part they wont give you much but I got a 10 percent discount on mine after looking around. They wouldnt give me a discount at other ADs.

As for buying a used GV I would say expect paying 5K to 5,500 but no taxes. It is a good looking watch and it feels great on your wrist.

Good luck,

Luis

The green glass Milgauss may be the future High Dollar Rolex in a collectors kit.. of course only time will tell..

It is not a "limited edition", and I have not seen where Rolex has said that, but it will likely not be produced indefinitely. I have not seen many for less than MSRP around here...

I love the green milgauss, krytonite on my wrist.. It doesn't get the most wear since it lacks a date, but I feel it's a very special piece.

I have read watch mags and listened to AD's telling me the GV was about to be discontinued because of quality control probs making the green crystal.

However, from my own observations, there appears to be more GV's available at AD's now than at any time since 2007!!!!.........I think marketing has been shrewdly deployed by Rolex!!!!!!!!

I wish they did stop making them now...but that would be very selfish and bad of me!!!!!!!

I collected mine from a Manila AD one month ago.I got a 13.5% discount after my wife had finished battering them with a month long negotiation(She's a Real Estate Broker here in Manila and loves to negotiate!!!)

I adore the GV...but now i also like the plain black (especially after Tools photos.....stop posting amazing photos!!!)
