Let's put it this way: considering the times our friend JJ has flipped (my son changes socks less frequently than JJ changes watches) he could have actually worn every single watch in the Rolex family by now.

I'm not a big flipper, so I say save you pennies and get another one. You'll regret getting rid of the YM.

That photo in your op says it all. I know as soon as you buckle on the replacement Bluesy you and it, will feel perfectly at home. Will you always feel unsettled until you get one back on that hursuit wrist we have all come to know and love? I reckon its the classic Rolex sports watch and first started me on my love for the Brand.

Well Im late to the party here it seems.

I like the YM, it is stunning in its own right. However. I feel that the two tone sub in blue and gold is incredible. I really think it is a more beautiful watch than the YM.

If it were ME I would flip the YM for a Bluesy in a heartbeat.

Nothing wrong with Bluesy, but don't ditch YM to get it. If anything, sell the SS Sub. Why have two Subs and no YM? I think your collection is rather "complete" with one sample from each of the sport models. Besides, you might take a bath on the resale value of the YM.

Good luck! These Rolex decisions tend to be tough...but fun!

How do you figure out if the voting is closed or still open? Can you not vote, buddy?

I cannot decide until I first sell of the YM........and that's NOT going to be easy.

Bluesy is the best. I love mine. Don't worry about "bad luck" you make your own luck. A new year, a new decade and a new bluesy, what else could you want?

Well, obviously it's up to you , but I think the YM Platty is so unique, and nothing else can really compare to it. I'm not saying it's better than the Blue Sub, but it is in a class of it's own. If you can put off buying the sub for a while and save up for it, or lay away at an AD, then you can have both. If I had all four of your Rollies, I wouldn't flip any of them. Just my two cents.

JJ,I'm with Dan on this one.........

I do know that in my time here you have always talked very fondly of the YM and I think deep inside it's a fav of yours still!!! Having said that, you have fliped over a few watches in your time.......My only advice is to think long and hard first, just as Dan said, only you can decide!!!!! Personaly,as you already know,I will never sell a Rolex to fund another...But thats just me!! I get to attatched...

Good luck on this one JJ and hope things get better with your health soon!!

JJ, I think you will deeply regret losing the YM if it makes way for another Blue Sub.

It's all down to your good self at the end of the day with whatever you decide, but having read your posts regarding the YM, I think you would sorely miss it.

ill sell the platty in a heartbeat and get a bluesy.. or if you can hang on to the platty and get a bluesy in the near future, that would be better. so you will have 5 beautiful watches in your collection..The most important thing is you will be happy... Life is short JJ,so enjoy to the max. Do the most out of it...You are not getting any younger...
