ah.... I knew it had to be a GMTIIC because of the PCL, otherwise i'd have@guessed LV.

the number of threads you made about the SS GMTIIC and the LV recently was enough for most of us pick the GMTIIC.

nice looking thing. Wear it well. The PCL is certainly an attractive upgrade. Good luck keeping it scratch free.... ;-)

Eric,
The PCL's wont be a problem because im REALLY carefull and want them to stay bright and shiny... I wear a real beater (cost 7 euros!!) to work, otherwise it would be quickly ruined...

Dan,
The DJII in black/white batons is a stunner...I almost bought it...went with the white dial because it was the one that got me to go to the AD in the first place.. didnt want to waiver on my intuitions....I have not yet seen the Rhod/Blue but im sure its great too.

Pete, what I have experienced with the PCL is that it can get fine scratches when wearing long sleeve clothes. Thats what I have on my GV and the DJII so far. No problems on the LV since there is no PCL on it.

But once you get a few, you will get used to it.

Same here, I have a £7.50 casio digital for work :-)

Are you saying that your shirt causes scratches???? Dont you use fabric softener??? Do you use starch??? Seems unlikely that soft fabric causes scratches...but i guess if you say it does then it can.......
thanks for the tip.

Yup, that happened to me too. Desk diving will really hammer the clasp and 12 o'clock side of the bracelet. After cleaning mine up with a Cap Cod cloth, I'm going to try to be more careful with it.

pete, not only shirts, as well as jumpers, coats/jackets.

Those battle scares will add character to the watch

I'm disappointed... I thought you found Jimmy Hoffa underneath that cloth.

Oh well, the search continues...
