andy, i'm unsure what you mean by 'beatability'... how does a gmt not have the 'beatability' of a sub? how does any sports model have more ruggedness than another? cosmetically? movement durability? please clarify...

You don't want to take a GMT or an Explorer diving for instance. I mean,you can actually,and a lot of people does,but still...you get the picture

I do not get it. I'd rather go diving or swimming with any modern Rolex Oyster, than a vintage (as you indicate in an earlier post would be your next watch).

Perhaps you are talking about "image" when you are saying "picture", that you "need" a diver's watch on your wrist when you go diving or swimming. That's a different story, and if so I can understand (sort of...)

Of course you really need a diving computer, for serious use.

sounds like you have been through the Rolex dive watches, maybe have a look at Omega. GMT & Explorer could cope with most rugged activities easily. Not sure what extra stress your diving activities are going to take unless you work on North Sea oil rigs.

EXP-II Black, then you can flip it for an EXP-II White, then back to black, black to white and on and on. If you are diving deeper than 300' you need to be onna hose with your surface guy watching your time.
