Fast. That way when it gets to be close to a minute ahead, I just stop the watch and wait...

As JJ mentioned, spot on is best. I love my Deepsea for just that reason; it's the best of the bunch. The others tend to run consistently fast by a few seconds. I prefer this for the reason the OP mentioned.
