A handsome collection indeed!

Hi guys,

Not mine for sure, but this collection belonged to some other member on another forum. I think this is one great and very versatile collection of some top class Rollies!!!

Looks great indeed!! All he needs is a SS/PLT YM and the collection is good to go. Maybe a DD as well and also SS Sub.....JK, that is a beautiful family shot.

Nice collection indeed, but I wonder how much wrist time the owner gives the small DJ at the bottom? NTTAWWT.

That collection belongs to Zuiko from the other forum. He was later banned for some silly reason. The Lady DJ is his wife's and the rest are his. He was quite a collector.

nice collection, but not so sure about the TOG.. i think a rotaing bezel belongs on a sports watch.. looks out of place on a dressier watch? what do you guys think?

Actually, I quite liked the TOG when I saw one in person. Only thing that put me off was the 36 mm size - just too small for me. Wish they had made it at least 38 mm.

Nic bunch of hardware there. I agree about the TOG. It does look nicer in person than in pics but is too small for my wrists.

Wow, that's impressive. It's almost like someone decided to create a collection of all the Rolexes I have zero interest in, all he needs to throw in is a white-dialed Exp II and a diamond-studded anything.

BTW, "silly" is a judgement call here (just like my opinion of his collection), IMO the mods showed an IMMENSE amount of restraint in not banning him sooner.

I didn't quite get most of that, Micah.

Firstly, nothing wrong with that collection...I think it's superb.

Secondly, Zuiko was a nice helpful guy with some very good info from time to time. He just did not like to be rubbed the wrong way. How come I never had any problem with him?

Thirdly, let me not even start about those mods and their "restraints". It's not even worth talking about.

Cheers - JJ

I still like the collection, but the dude Zuiko, is a full fledged.....well if you can't say anything nice just don't say anything right.

Allow me to clarify >>>

Sorry if my comments caused confusion, allow me to be completely clear:

Of course to each his own, but if Rolex quit making all of those watches it would be fine with me, I don't like a single one of them.

Maybe this is a case of split personalities or something, the zuiko I dealt with on TZ and TURF was a boorish, arrogant prick who never missed an opportunity to speak up and insult someone or purposefully disagree with them in the interest of making himself look better, I thoroughly disliked him and once again can't believe it took as long as it did for him to get banned. I expect that the fact that you're a particularly nice person served you well in this instance. I couldn't stand the guy and dreaded seeing his name at the end of a subject line.

I assume we're talking TURF here? In which case I completely agree, and the mods there are why I don't post or read that forum at all any longer.

Hope that is all a little more clear.

JJ, you must be something to know in personal life. Surely you're one of the nicest guys I've ever come across. When I was in college there was a lady I worked with who was just wonderful, she never had anything mean to say about anyone but somehow also wasn't a goody-goody lame-o, I get the feeling you're just the same.

I could learn a thing or two from you, I expect.... But I do so enjoy being the enfant terrible!

Thanks for the kind words, Micah. Ask Al (Avalon) about me. He's the only guy who's actually met me in person!!

(Hand slapping forehead). All this time I was wondering what happened to him. I never did put 2 and 2 together. Thank you for clearing that up for me, Johnny.

You see JJ? Look what you have done to me (or at least my reputation).

Now if I can just convince my wife that this is the source of all my issues, then I'll be good!
