New Daytona -- any info?

I am currently hesitating between a GMT IIc and a DJ II (see: my other thread below)
Of course, the best model is the Daytona gold & stainless (gold & stainless, because this is my limit in price).

Anyone with an info if a newer Daytona is on its way | when? Might wait a bit before purchasing. The new GMT II c was great, the new DJ II is very good, so I can't imagine how the new Daytona will look like.

Noone knows for sure that a new Daytona is coming, it's only rumoured.

Basel 2010 show starts a week from now, so I'd wait with a decision until then.

Agreed, but even so, the way things normally go is that they launch the precious metal versions one year, two tone the next, and steel the year after that. So even if there is a new Daytona, the more attainable models won't be around for quite some time

Well lets be honest apart from the Milgauss, Daytona,a few in the Cellini range and say the the YM11 there has been no real new model Rolex since 1988.Only slightly modded old ones, sure now we have slighty larger cases glidlock and ceramic inserts. But new models hardly, just revamped old ones and would expect the same this year.
