Deep Sea question on dial.

I had a new Deep Sea in 2008 right after the USA release. My Rolex Deep Sea had a matte dial. It defiantly was not the normal polished black dial of a Sub. The question is...Did Rolex change the dials to the shinny polished black dials? On their web site and a few I saw on the eeebay they look polished. Mine was not and it was defiantly from my AD I paid $9,250 for it. I added some photos of it when I had it below. Thanks, Troy

DSSD Matte Dial

The Original DSSD have Matte Black dials.. Polished dials are probably fakes!

Yes it could have been a fake one but if you look at the photos on Rolex's own web site it looks polished to me. Thanks for your photo proof.

I think the domed crystal has an effect on how it can seem not matte.

Mine is matte also.
