DeepSea......Matte or Glossy??

I know that most are going to say that the dial is Matte. I know that the dial on my DeepSea is matte, but does anyone have a DeepSea with a glossy dial?? I have read some conflicting reports on the matter, and one gentleman swears that he had a DSSD with a matte dial and sold it. Now he has recently acquired another DSSD and it has a glossy dial.

What gives??

I think it's a farce...

AFAIK all DSSD's have matte dials, however due to the domed crystal they can look glossy in certain angles and lighting conditions.

Hhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm, don't know about a matt finish dial????

On mine when I hold it up to direct light I can see a reflection on the dial of the hands????? To me this means it is a glossy dial???

Have a look at it in direct light and you will see the reflection just under each hand on the dial its self!!

Let me know what your thoughts are??

It's something that has come up in the past. I've even read some call it a semi-matt dial..what ever that is.

I've noticed it does seem to take a different look depending on the light.

This is interesting....I've only seen the DSSD in the flesh once, but many, many pics and always thought it had a glossy dial.

My M series is a matte dial. It is very easy to see that it is matte outdoors in natural light, however, with artificial lighting the crystal seems to give the dial a glossy appearance. I'm guessing this is all a farce.
