How good can a fake/replica get

I have been following all the posts lately about the fake/replica watches entering the country from China, especially frightening is the story about the replica DSSD that is almost fooling the experts. Anyway, my question is this, If/when the fake/replicas get soo good they fool everyone, including the experts, are the watches considered authentic? If they fool everyone, who is going to challenge them. The only people who would know are the ones making them. Don't get me wrong, I totally despise any fake/replica product, and the people that buy and sell them, no matter what it is, but I am very nervous about just how good can a fake/replica get?

There aren't any replicas out there that "fool all the experts"... these are just stories with no basis in fact...

If you want to learn more about fake watches, there are sites dedicated to them...

Afraid on TRF we do not like to talk about fakes especially in the Rolex watch only forum. And like you say (If/when the fake/replicas get soo good they fool everyone, including the experts, are the watches considered authentic?).Now how could they be then authentic if they was not manufactured by the maker whats on the dial in this case Rolex, they would be still fake. While cases dials etc are quite good and might fool some.,knowone yet has managed to replicate the movement and to a trained eye would doubt if they ever could..
