Is this a good price for a new Deepsea?
First, I'd like to thank everyone for voting in my previous poll (new ss-c Sub or GMTIIc). As you all know, I'm looking to purchase my 2nd Rolex soon and I'd like to use it as an everyday wearer (work, beach, fishing, etc). I thought I had narrowed my choices down to the new ss-c Sub or the GMTIIc but after visiting another AD the other day, I feel as though a new player is back in the running....the Deepsea. Actually, I think it's the front runner right now. I'm a pretty big guy (6'4" 205 lbs with 8" + wrists) and feel like I could probably handle the size of the DSSD. Ok so I have 2 questions for you guys. 1st) Am I crazy for thinking I can wear the BEAST as an everyday wearer? 2) I've called around to a few ADs in my area to compare prices of the Deepsea and the best price I've come up with is $8,000 USD straight up. No taxes b/c it'd be shipped out-of-state. Is this a good price from an AD? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

I have 3 Rolex'es and my favorite and everyday is the Deepsea, I love it.. I think you can get a better price in the for sale section here. I have seen some lower than $8,000.
You will enjoy it. |

The deep Sea is a fantastic watch and you can surely wear it everyday...I know because I do and I think it is super comfortable.
The price is a fair price. I think you need to ask yourself a few questions... Do you trust this dealer? Will they give you good service? Sometimes it isn't about the best price but piece of mind and knowing you will be happy in the end. You might be able to get it a little cheaper but as I said it isn't always about price. Enjoy it!

IMO US$8,000 from an AD is a pretty decent deal.
However, if you buy from a grey dealer, you might be able to save US$500 or so. It's up to you... Good luck and congrats in advance! |

by far my favourite watch in my collection.
No - you are not crazy to think you can wear it every day...perfectly ok.. didn't leave my wrist for 2 months. $8000 is a good deal from an AD IMO you will love the watch...I got the extension removed and have found it extremely comfortable good luck

I think the price is fair.
Go for it, if it sings!

From an AD it sounds like a decent price to me.
