Nato strap on a DSSD???

What are your thoughts?? Has anyone seen any pics??

I think Nato straps won't match the bulk size of the DSSD case. One beautiful invention of Rolex is the DSSD new glide lock,, I wouldn't remove this super bracelet !! In addition the huge size & weight of the glide lock make a counter balance for the huge case..

I agree with Maged - the DSSD's bracelet is very comfortable, so it would be a shame to replace it with anything else.

I have seen pics of DSSDs on NATOs and they do look great.

NATOs are very comfortable and inexpensive, you should try it and see if it's for you.

I think it may be too large for a nato as well - maybe a nice thick rubber strap?

Saw some pictures somewhere on this site and it really took a lot of shine away from the DSSD.........the bracelet is a key part of the overall DSSD package so I just don’t understand why you would want to swap it out

Personally I don’t like the NATO straps on other SS sports models either

i think nato straps on the SDDS looks fine... but if you want, you can try out a zulu strap maratac strap, kevlar strap, or 2 piece zulu strap... my preference leans toward a kevlar or maratac strap...

New to forum - Oxford Uk - I have the DSSD and have owned it since Jan 1st 2010. I have struggled with my thoughts - do I keep it - Dont I keep it? But I am living with it and loving it for now. Got a nato strap for around £10.00 - Took one look at it and thought there is no way I am hanging my DSSD on that piece of material - NO WAY! Order one and see for yourself - I am right. Some pics look good but the reality is that the DSSD is a big, big watch - it's it's selling point and it's down fall at times.

Confused - I know the feeling!

I saw just such a photo on another forum, and it looked great. A nice pairing. But I'd prefer to try it on before wearing is for a long time. Nice appearance, I think a Bond NATO would is good. JMO.

I have been toying around with the idea of getting a dive strap from Ted Su ( www.teddy-straps.com ) , I believe a simple NATO would look a bit "thin" on a SDDS and we would really pis..ff J.J. doing that

Zulus really shine on the DSSD

they overpower a Nato. Just like a Zulu overpowers a regular sized sport Rolex
