The Candy Man

I found this while doing some reading on Rolex watches. I really liked Sammy Davis Jr, he was great! I hope some of the old folks still remember him and some of the youngsters will see what entertainment was really like back in the old days.
It seems slow here on TRF, I do not know why, maybe it will pick up again.
This is the web site I found this:

Sammy Davis Jr. Rolex Datejust...
The Candy Man Can
The incomparable Sammy Davis Jr., is pictured below hugging actor, Mickey Rooney backstage at Rooney's Broadway show named "Sugar Babies" in 1981. Of course, Sammy Davis Jr., is wearing his trademark yellow gold Rolex Datejust.

Little Big Men
Ironically Mickey Rooney was born 5 years before Sammy Davis Jr., and Mickey is still alive and Sammy has been gone for almost twenty years.
Sammy Davis was really something else!!!!
Sammy Davis Jr., and Mickey Rooney have one thing in common–they were both child actors and entertainers. I have always been fascinated by childhood photos because you can often times see the pure essence of a person's nature in them, and I could not resist sharing both of the photos of the little men, both clad in a tuxedo:

The Candy Man: The Magnificent Sammy Davis Jr.
Sammy Davis Jr., was a big Rolex collector. In this photo he is wearing his trademark Yellow Gold Datejust with the black dial. Sammy Davis Jr., is considered my many to be the greatest entertainer that ever lived.

I'm old enough to remember him. He will be missed. Truly, a great entertainer. The man could tap dance! Who could ever forget the Rat Pack?
