Quick price question for the GMT masters
Hi all,
I was snooping around an AD yesterday, and the salesman said he had some specials in the back room. One that interested me was a 116713 Z serial that the salesman said he wore in the store for about a year (as a prop, I suppose). They could no longer sell as "new" but he would sell with the 2 year warantee for $6,150. It needed some polishing here and there, but looked good. What do y'all think? Should I snatch it up? Jim |

Yeah, it really does. Never much cared for the TT subs with the blue, but that ss/gold/black maxi dial combo is pretty hot.

Price is reasonable for the tt. What will be a nice bonus is you are still getting the full warranty and your name will be on the warrany card.
Is the price out the door, tax included? As for the scratches, I scratched my links up pretty good when all I was doing was playing cards on a kitchen table for a few hours, so if you wear it, it will get scratched up pretty easiy anyway. Noting that can't be touched up though. If you want it, go for it! |

An AD offered me $5500 for mine. |

Yes, that was out the door. I haven't been able to find an e-bay-er for $4,500. For a Z serial, anyway. Show me.

I have seen a few on e-bay and pre-owned dealers for around the £3-£4K mark ($4,800 - $6,400) but none of these have been Z serials and non of them were from an AD If you like the watch then I would go for it.

I'm looking for that as well and have done plenty of research - that's a good price mate! Go for it.
