I had forgotten how comfortable the oyster was.
Half term here and took the kids to the London Natural History Museum. Thought I'd wear my 1953 oyster as its less conspicuous than my TT Daytona which I feel a bit nervous wearing in crowds etc.
The old oyster felt so light and comfortable on my tiny wrist I had to actually look to see if I was still wearing it ! I think I will be giving it more wrist time in the future. I absolutely love the looks of the Daytona and after a year of owning one am still not tired of admiring it. But the old oyster is definitely more comfortable (on my tiny wrist). |

the older SS Rolexes that have the lightweight, rattly oyster bracelet w/ folded links is the most comfy!
