Its one of the things that I really love about watch collecting and TRF; the instant connection and friendship that is formed from a passion of Rolex (and other brands), and in this case, our careers too!!

Im looking forward to the day my wife goes back to work flying for Eagle so she can take a pic of her "Pan Am" Air King while speaking to me on the frequency...
I will debut my next watch to TRF on frequency with you! Of course, after the one I will debut in a couple days

Have a great few days off and I will chat with you soon going thru your airspace!

Howdy!

Some points, just to let you know what I have heard:

a) FCC does monitor the SKIES...I dont know how or where but people have been violated. (most if not all pilots have a restricted FCC license)

b) Cell phones that are "on" receiving can disturb aircraft electronic systems (if there are any frayed wires--> very rare but can happen)

c) Airbus-->Fly by wire so I wouldnt want to prove (b) when I am on one.

KEEP ROLEXING!!!

Christiaan,

My wife's "Rollie" gets delivered tomorrow from Fedex..

then

I have to "cool" thing down for a few weeks, after a few overtime trips it is either a GMTIIC and Omega PO or just a plain lovely Bad A$$ DeepSEA !!!

Im leaning for the GMT and PO..Watch-a-thinking?? It will be a surprise.
