Not me,but it has happened.......Including shattering and chips but I personaly still love the ceramic!!!!

had my GMT-C for 3 years in June, its beat up a bit but no scratches that i can see.

I have scratched my GMT TT Ceramic!
See my post from Aug 17, 2009. Collision with the wife's diamond ring. See the chip on the crystal as well.

About 18 months without a scratch, but the allure of the ceramic has faded quite a bit for me personally. I am liking my Sub bezel better every day.

Have to agree something where newer materials are not always better.Ceramic is not something thats new in the watch world, its been around since the 1960s.But today ceramic seems to be the latest fashion, with many high end brands now getting into the ceramic fashion.

what are the advantages of ceramic? i mean, why do you want it as a bezel over the other options.

My old style aluminum inserts don't have any signs of wear, scratches, or fading. They are between 6-10 years old.

Diamonds will do a number on inserts and crystals. I've seen quite a few scratched up from significant others catching their diamond across by accident.
