Hi Tommer. As a Canadian I'm not much use to you in searching out a California shop, but welcome to TRF anyway.

You should maybe contact essential watches and see who they recommend. They're a grey dealer in the area that we've heard positive things from in the past.

Why not Bev. Hills RSC? Just had a great experience with them.

Try Jostmar Jewelers in South Coast Plaza. I have had my Rolex and other watches serviced there. They are listed in the mall directory or you can do a web search.

If you send you Rolex to RSC in Bev Hills by

registered mail, it will be there the next day. I've also used JewelersOnTime in Orange. Also Walter Gooden Inc in west Los Angeles. Just had my 1013 serviced by Rolex...couldn't be happier.

As they're in West LA, it's not much better then the RSC in terms of being close to you, but I prefer Timeland at the SE corner of Westwood and Olympic. Older Japanese couple owns the shop with their son. Most Seiko (he worked for Seiko Japan) and common brands in the cases.

He was Ronald Reagan's watch fixer (President Reagan was a WIS ).

Anyway, their prices are solid, the quality good, and they do a lot of work. Quietly serving high end watches for a long time.
