That is completely bull!

I go on today to post my sub on another website named ___zone.
They PERMA BANNED ME
Guess why?

Because I posted my sub in both the showcase (for sale above 5k)
and the regular SC as A TRADE! - to attract those with DJ's (below 5k)

I just got their emails saying dont do this
go to login
and im BANNED
PERMANENTLY

That is absolutely ludicrous!
I wrote a letter to the owner hopefully I'll be allowed to post again. Sigh. Very disappointed right now

PS - I lowered the price to 4999USD for my LV to post it for trade in the SC, so apparently if you have one in the showcase YOU CANT LOWER PRICE BELOW 5K. New rule? Jesus.

I'm a lucky person in regards to I have the means to buy and sell so many watches.
I just get bored of things VERY easily :)
And instead of accumulating 10 of these, (we all know Ash wouldn't let that happen), I flip em.

I think my problem is I trade too much.
I want to start AD buying my watches like JJ. I think you gain more appreciation through that.
Anyway, moving this one out asap. :)
Hopefully ___zone will come to its senses and just let me sell my damn watch

Tag,

Here's an idea. Forget them and start your own. You apparently have the means to do so.

Not sure what it is about the LV that just doesn't sit right with me.
I'm thinking of holding onto it until april or until they may discontinue but I bought it with the intention to wear it with jeans as I needed one.
Now I was offered an executive position with a company today, so it seems ill be wearing a suit every day, to school and work :)
Just need another dressy watch I guess.
Another date-just is a sure hit on my radar but may even opt for a rose gold day date if I can find one around these parts. That recent post with the RG was amazing. Either one I will get in the next month or two, however long it takes to move the LV. I think 4999 is reasonable...
I thought that we cannot mention other sites here, at least before new ownership which is why i bleep out the full sites name :)

Figures anyway, I spent most of my time here rather than TZ anyway. Just had good track record with selling things off their quicker. Bah

tag: Why not just replace the green bezel insert for black? A black SS sub can be dressed up or down and match any clothing.

Good one, Incurable... heheh
Umm, that'd imply there's an end to the suspension. Wait a minute, have you been suspended from TZ before, Aadil?

Ah well... good luck with the sale. It's too bad that you violated TZ sale policies. They must just make up complicated rules just to mess with people. I mean what's wrong with listing the same item in either of their FS forums? I wonder if they think they are cutting down on internet scams this way? Sounds to me like they lost a consistent, reliable (albeit fickle) seller.

Congratulations on your new executive position, by the way... What field is it in?

If I hear of anyone looking for one, I'll be sure and send 'em your way.

He has a point you know. While I'm sure there might be a different standard in the financial power suited environs you'll be venturing into, a Rolex is still a Rolex... and even without swapping bezel inserts... Green is after all... THE COLOR OF MONEY!

I like Sinbad's suggestion, try a black bezel on your LV for a while, you may find it works for business and pleasure.
Good going on the new job
TZ should sort the matter out once they hear you explanation.
New job, selling watch, forget the scarf, sounds like a whole new Burberrys wardrobe is in order for Tags_girl

I'm at crossroads when it comes to law/business.
I'm more thinking about my future kids and how little time I will spend if I take on Law and finish it up. However if I finish my school right now then proceed to MBA, I could dedicate more time to my future family. Kind of putting things into perspective.

Steve, you are seriously looking to drain my account ;)
Burberry is nice, and I'm sure Ashley will have a great birthday ;)

Aadil

PS - Thanks Tony, appreciate it. If you guys know anyone who wants an LV at rock bottom please send em my email. I really want to get that datejust :)

More seriously, most forums have rules about 'double posting', etc. but... Usually they just delete one post, issue a warning or the like. Permanent banning seems extreme, to say the least. Newbies do this stuff all the time. I'm not sure why they singled this (you) out for the most extreme measure available to them. You have my sympathies but sometimes, stuff happens...

OK,so you are in Law school, then you are talking about an MBA and then its working for some financial institution. What concerns you are the time that you will spend in the future, with your kids.Seems like you cant finish what you start....

Then we have the watch confusion .... OQ and Panerai lasted 2 weeks, now the LV,is also going to last two weeks,it seems and you are asking questions about a DJ ... You get banned from TZ where you have already flipped $50k worth of watches ....

Whats up,Aadil ??? Whats bugging you ??

Sounds like you're pretty scattered to be honest/ Kinda like those guys you see around without a clear image of themselves.

The watches appear to be a panacea and the fact that you've been through $50K worth in such a short time points to this inability to settle down. Maybe if you were to hold off on future acquisitions... pay attention to the things that matter... you know. Get a hold of this life you're leading.

haha it seems I am sort of a watch addict.
I have worked full time since I was 13, so I will be working at the financial institution full time while schooling full time.
I'm torn between the LLB and MBA at the moment. It seems I have completely confused myself by talking to many people and now I have no idea what I want to pursue and finish.
Perhaps I should take it easy with the flipping and just settle down with these guys. The LV is by far a wonderful watch. I think I should keep it and stop changing my mind. I agree to the fact the watches are a panacea. It is very easy to keep your mind preoccupied with a hobby rather than face few decisions we all want to pursue. Thanks for the advice guys. The LV will stay in the stable. :)

I'm glad I have friends on this board who do care and put time into seeing what is wrong. I appreciate it guys. You have my greatest thanks.
Now... should I put the LV on a nato ;)
