My YM Mod part 1

First.....Welcome back TRF!!!

Now......Just wanted to share with my friends my latest news!!!
Although old now(because of TRF downtime and my slow and not so good photo taking),I've finally made the first mod to my YM!!!
This is something I've been wanting(needing!)to do for almost a year now...After alot of patience and searching,I finally found a GMTII TT easylink buckle to install!! It was purchased from another member here on TRF(thanks again Nathan!)...Although I like the original, for this watch IMO,it just didn't work for me......and boy oh boy what a difference!!!
The comfort and feel are amazingly improved, not to mention the looks!!
Although it is a thicker buckle,it just fits this model to a T. I did have to change the config of the links from 6 & 4 to 5 & 5 to center the buckle on the wrist, but wow.....I'm overjoyed!!!
Overall an easy and totaly worth it,modification!!!

+ as you can guess for part 2 later,a new crystal caseback will be installed to complete the transition of my new best friend!!!!

Thanks for looking folks

looks great! That old clasp - although I respect it's heritage - is my biggest issue with the YM and the Explorers. I can see myself picking up an expy II white dial someday once they make that upgrade!
