What happens to prices when new models come out?
What happens to prices when new models come out?
For example, what will happen to the re-sale of the LV when the new ceramic one comes out? |

They usually go up, but some models a bit slower than others.

Up up and away the price goes! As long as crazy people pay, the price goes up!

I believe the 16610LV will eventually go up in value as it is the 50th anniversary model. The 116610LV is not considered a 50th anniversary model, rather it's just green. This was articulated at Basel this year in an interview with Rolex by James Dowling.

Like anything else, if there is a demand and the supply is limited (the LV isn't being made any more) the price will go up. There are still a lot of new 50th anniversary LV's out there though.
