Right, first and foremost I totally respect other people's choices and make absolutely no judgements, but the Rolex watches I'd choose last are...
YM2 - busy busy busy. Just not a fan Daytona - they're nice and all but I've honestly never understood the fuss. I'd choose a no-date sub over one in a heartbeat Anything with diamonds - just not my style Exp 2 - sorry, there's just something about the bezel that stops me loving it. I have to add that I don't hate any of the above mentioned, they'd just be last on my list if I was choosing from the range |

Think I’ve been through the entire sports line but never owned an Exp. II. Particular the white dial version is NO GO IMHO.

Daytona – Too much going on for my taste. Any Rolex that is not a sports model. There are many other brands I would choose over Rolex for a non-sports watch. |

Rolex's that I don't like !
I like ALL Rolex models except: Men models with Diamonds & precious Stones !!
I wonder why Rolex makes a diving watch with Diamonds ??? I think it is not safe as It may attract some dangerous Marine species to the diver.. [[[ My apology for any Sub/Diamonds owners ]]]

1. Yacht Master II (jumping on the bandwagon here)
2. Any Rolex with yellow gold or diamonds (not a bling fan) 3. Explorer I (appreciate the history, but just too small for my taste) 4. Air King (not my cup of tea and too small also) 5. Possibly the GMT IIC and new Sub (I know many love these (no offense), but I just don't like the polished center links and shininess of the ceramic bezel)-I think Rolex is going too far from its roots and into bling land--however, these may grow on me in time. My first post here! Not sure what took me so long to join. |

1) DD/DJ II.
2) YM II. 3) SDDS (too fat) Would not choose to buy the above, they're just not to my taste.

I realized recently that there are a couple of reasons I don't like the Daytona...
although I've owned several over the years, I sold all of them off reasonably soon. One of the reasons is I realize I'm not a fan of complicated or bizzy dials. I'm not gonna use the chrono function, so why have it cluttering the dial, (and costing extra)? The only 'extra' I might want on any dial is the date, and of course the Daytona ain't even got that.
The other problem I have with the Daytona is that there are just too many polished surfaces on it, especially that oversized bezel. It's just plain impossible to keep it from picking up swirlies and scratches, making it look shabby long before its time. The matt surface on the Sub and SD bezel makes this close to a non-issue, and of course the ceramic bezels eliminate it from consideration altogether. Too bad the Daytona will almost certainly not get one. |

I've owned ones that, as it turned out, I didn't want to own. I decided that after a recent foray into TT that it wasn't for me. Consequently I got rid of my TT YM and TT Sub.

The Yachtmaster II. It is in my opinion the most gawdy rolex ever made! They should of enhanced the original Plat/SS Yachtmaster ...how they could improve on it I dont know, its beautiful as is...instead of trying to one up it with that ugly monster! Again this is just my opinion!

The LV Kermit doesn't do it for me.
I love green too, my favourite colour. I've got the GV and GMTiiC with green GMT hand is the next watch I want. Maybe the LV with black bezel insert, but that's it. |

I think its quite funny reading some of the comments, as most of the complaints why they would not buy a certain model,is the reason why i would buy it. I love the Millgauss lightning second hand and the fact the DSSD is too big and heavy, i love that as well. The DJ2, i love everthing about it. TT models look great and the Yachtmaster 2 even looks good in YG.
