Am I Crazy?
In 1986 I received my first Rolex from my Father. It was a Sub. You cannot fathom the sheer joy that I experimented. From that day forward I became a timepiece enthusiast. I did, however, make the pledge to never buy a Rolex again. The pledge kept for 24 years. Much to my dismay and surprise Rolex manufactured an item that I could not ignore: the milgauss GV. Against all odds I went out and bought the infamous piece. Now, was I wrong? Everything indicates the opposite. Please shed some light.
Regards, Tanqin |

Your watches complement each other. For me, the Sub is great for casual wear, and I'm casual most of the time. The GV is nice for going out to dinner, a party, etc. Both make me feel good. Congratulations on acquiring the GV!

You're absolutely crazy! - for pledging against Rolex.
Welcome back to the fold, and congratulations on the recent addition.

IMO the only thing that's crazy is your self imposed 24 year exile.
You could have picked up a 6265 at Retail minus discount !!!

If by some chance, you feel crazy, you're not alone. As long as you only "hear" Rolex voices, you're fine!
