Perfect weight on wrist?
This is probably pretty ridiculous, but I recently had my Sea Dweller serviced. While it was away I wore my 1680 - but somehow it just felt wrong. There's something in the heft on the dweller and the way it sits slightly proud on my wrist. I found with the 1680 I was just a lot more aware of the crown and the weight of the watch felt too light.
Does anyone else who has a few rolexes feel this way, ie that one just seems more perfect on the wrist even though you might love the others? I just feel weird without the Dweller on! |

I know what you mean - takes a while to adjust to a different watch - and then back again...

I've been wearing the 1680 the last couple of weeks and it feels great. I love it

Out of all my watches, I've gone back to wearing my 16610 Sub (sans cyclops) that I've had for over 12 years, it is a perfect package IMO. |

Well it's entirely possible I may change my mind eventually...
There's just something about the weight and shape that works well on my wrist. I have an Omega Shom 200 which I think is a very beautiful piece of industrial design (in fact I like the design of that period in Omega's history (flightmaster 911 for eg)) and I also have worn my Dad's Certina DS-3 300m - which I love the look of, and it's not as if I have a big wrist either - but somehow this Dweller just fits the bill. I did just try it on my right hand, feels preposterous! Luckily I wear it on my left. |

My 36mm DJ feels the best for work. Sits nicely and fits just so under the cuffs.
LOVE the way my sport watches - and even the Pam - sit..but yes, quite different. |
