PLEASE...Help me decide!!
OK... So im kind of going out my mind right now. I misunderstood Ben Bridge pre-owned sale, the lady told me its in July. But its really in January.
i was really looking forward to getting a pre-owned sub as my first rolex... Here is the question... What is your opinion on the new explorer? Should i continue to save money(which is never bad) and get a sub in January? Or should I just get a new explorer? As i stated in a previous post, i love the everything about the SUB. A classic timepiece... But...that explorer is nice. However, i feel like im trying to convince myself on just getting something just to get, i.e. the explorer. Explorer is a nice watch for sure, especially now that its slightly bigger. Big watches look good on me, thats why i want a paneri and a sub. Sorry for the long post but i would like to hear your suggestions. What would you do? thanks. |

Hold out for the sub. You will not be dissapointed! The anticipation (while a pain) can be half the fun.

Feels like you have answered your own question. You want the sub. So... Get the sub! The explorer is a compromise. No need to do that here.

Look you are going to spend a lot of money anyways, so you might as well do it right and get exactly what you want!

I'm not sure what you're talking about........... around here the BB "time and time again" sale started July 2 and is still around with some odds and ends.. But, expecting to find a Rolex at these sales after the first few hours they hit town is a slim proposition..
Sounds like you want the Sub, so don't settle for anything else or you will just be disappointed..........

Your post says it clearly; you want the sub more. I'd vote for keeping it your 1st choice.

It's already been said by a few members...wait for the watch you want and don't talk yourself into getting another watch because in the long run you will not be as satisfied or happy!!!

The Sub is a classic sports watch, but at the same time is versatile for more formal wear. The new Explorer is a classic Rolex design but more elegant in appearance. I would personally go for the Sub, but you have to decide which would suit your personality, dress style and lifestyle most. But then you've sort of already decided your preference.

I went to the Ben Bridge Rolex pre-own sale. No subs at all, actually no Rolex sport watch at all!! Just go to Royal Maui, next to the Apple store in Fashion Valley. That's where I bought my beautiful brand new Sub-Date.

Hold on for the Sub if it's what you really want. If you are trying to convince yourself of something else, then it's probably the incorrect choice.

sub
I'd wait and get the sub, sounds like you prefer the sub. Always wait, or else you'll want the sub even if you buy the explorer now.
